Connecting Humans And Robots Through Wearable Haptics

In this project, the objective is to record and transmit tactile sensations to the fingertip. We developed both the sensing part and the wearable actuation part. The sensing part is in charge of sensing tactile cues applied to the finger. The actuation part is a wearable robotic thimble that squeezes the fingertip, rendering in real-time the sensation experienced on the sensing side.
