Join nonprofit ReCreate to repurpose interesting everyday materials into an artistic Robot. Rather than recycling, which breaks down materials into their component parts, upcycling (recreating) gives new life to an item by repurposing it in a creative way. Create your one of a one-of-a-kind robot with materials sourced from regional businesses and individuals in this fun and eco-friendly activity. You may never look at an empty cardboard box the same!

We like to show people that creativity can be accessible to all. We believe that creativity = innovation, and we want a vibrant community of creative and innovative people. Using materials that would have otherwise been destined for the landfill takes the pressure off people so they become more free in their making and creating. By making a robot with random items, we are sparking the imagination of everyone to consider what THEY can create!
