MAKEing History

Virtually Maker Faire 2020

May 22nd-23rd

Exhibit

The Columbia Memorial Space Center has worked hard the past year to both be a part of, and support, the maker community. Our latest project, "MAKEing History" attempts to gather together the stories of individuals and businesses 3D printing PPE for healthcare workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Personal stories and physical misprints of PPE will be accessioned into the museum's permanent archival collection, and regular episodes of the web series "MAKEing History" will be released through the museum's website and social media. Join our archivist and maker community liaison to learn more about our project, how to participate, and hear how one Southern California museum is documenting Maker History.
