Creating a Feedback Loop to Learn ABCs and 123s

Virtually Maker Faire 2020

May 22nd-23rd

Exhibit

In this demonstration my 4-year-old son and I will explain how we were able to create an engaging way to educate him of the ABCs and 123s using an interactive touch wall.

Using captive paint, conductive thread, a Bareconductive touch board, and lastly a handful of mp3s, I have bene able to provide endless education -er scratch that. I mean ENTERTAINMENT of the likes few kids would be able to boast about. However it was extremely simple and cost effective to make. Applying a bit of imagination, and requirement engagement, which provides immediate feedback ones ability to have fun whilst learning becomes intensified.

I made for him his interactive wall as a means to learn his ABCs and 123s, but now he loves being able to trigger phrases from his favorite super heroes.
