Frax3D Ventilator is an automation of a manual resuscitator bag (Ambu). It works with a nema 23 motor and a spindle to compress Ambu bag. Have an optical endstop (to avoid mechanic fatigue limit on this component) and can control all needed parameters such as breaths per minute, ratio inspiration/expiration and tidal volume (air pushed to lungs). It also has a pressure sensor so you can measure max pressure and Peep pressure.

Is a 3D printed Ventilator for Coronavirus (it can also be laser cut). It’s really fast to manufacture and low cost (less than 100€). One of the main advantages is that the Ambu is available from the top in case the doctor needs it to manually take care of the patient or in case of a problem.

We already started testing with hospitals and vets.
