Through a creative approach, Chloe Taylor and Netia McCray will share their experiences creating inclusive and authentic STEM spaces around the world. In this workshop, participants will learn how to nurture a diverse array of makers to build, make, learn, or in other words--make their own magic.

Chloe Taylor

Chloe Taylor has been a curriculum consultant and educator for over 10 years in New York City. Originally from Pittsburgh, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where she developed an interest in innovative teaching practices and creative technology. She is passionate about creating purposeful learning experiences for students of all ages. A sense of play and wonder are central to her life and work. She is committed to creating curriculum that honors the natural world, and that embraces the limitless magic of technology as well. As Co-Founder of Greeneprints, Inc, a non-profit organization in Brooklyn, Chloe has created affordable and high-quality summer camps and after school programs for local children since 2013. Grounded in the values of exploration, inquiry and innovation, Greeneprints programs offer rich investigations in science-inquiry, an introduction to robotics, and foundations of computer science in creative and engaging ways. In 2018, Chloe founded Chloe Taylor Technology, a STEM consulting business. With the creation of Chloe Taylor Technology, Chloe is able to work with elementary and middle schools to build comprehensive STEM programs that will instill a passion, appreciation and an empowering confidence in 21st century learning.
