The Exhibits Team at NYSCI is working to develop new early childhood experiences for the museum. The team has been meeting to plan and prototype since early 2018.
Part of: NYSCI Village
Build a fort with simple materials like fabric and sticks to help NYSCI test ideas for a new early childhood exhibition. This large-scale fort-building activity is designed for children ages 7 and under and their families.
What inspired you to make this project?:
Fort-building is a powerful learning experience that embodies the principles of Design Make Play. It empowers children to use everyday materials in new ways and create imaginary worlds that are truly their own.
