Contraptions are a ridiculously fun way to learn about cause and effect, simple machines, team work and computer science concepts. Together we will explore applying this methodology in the classroom while building our own sequence of silly action using cardboard and easily accessible materials.

Godwyn Morris
Godwyn Morris is the Director of Dazzling Discoveries, a STEM education center she started almost 20 years ago to expose children and educators to the benefits of hands on learning. She is an advocate making, mixing, trying, testing and playing all with the aim of promoting creative thinking and problem solving. She works with hundreds of students and teachers every year in classes, camps and workshops teaching maker space friendly activities and methodologies. Her expertise is helping educators bridge the gap between content and exploration with easily accessible, inexpensive materials.
