[Assistive Tech] A Maker Dad's Story
World Maker Faire New York 2018
September 22nd-23rd
How can the maker community adapt the world? You get the tools that are used in this space into the hands of someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the world one person at a time.
Jacob Lacourse
I am the dad of a 2 year old who has Usher Syndrome the leading cause of deaf blindness. I am also an engineer and realized that I could use my skills and the tools available in the maker community to help create solutions for her and help others along the way as well. I am also the founder of Adapt the World Labs where we use technology to create solutions for people with extra needs.
