Metabolic Foundation works in Aruba to empower locals to expand capacity and sustainability as they see fit. We've started the country's first makerspace, built the island's only plastic recycling facility, and are exploring environmental monitoring.

Christie is from Aruba, a small island in the Caribbean, and has a passion for sustainable development in the context of poverty relief. She has worked in Thailand, Aruba, and Jamaica, on community-led projects in low-income urban areas.

Tony studied math, physics, biology, and environmental science, and comes from a family of makers. He has worked on projects in the Netherlands, Thailand, Aruba, and Jamaica, combining a scientific approach with action and practicality.
