Barry is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and geek who is easily mesmerized by mechanical repetitive motion machines, and finds them extremely calming as well.
Gualala Gadget: Intricate 3D printed battery and solar powered desktop marble machines.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I wanted to create something that required 3D printing and couldn't practically be injection molded, was incredibly intricate to showcase what 3D printing can do, yet also included a kinetic aspect -- something that wasn't just an intricate piece of plastic sitting on a desktop. These sculptures are what resulted.
