The Future of Building Buildings

The office of today is a harbinger of the buildings of tomorrow, which will usher in new, collaborative spaces for inspiring and housing America’s next generation of freelancers, makers and creatives. These havens for creative thinking will help makers design, tinker and hack at a higher level.

What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
Amol founded a company called Knotable, a productivity platform. One day, in the office, someone mentioned that the office was like a "Knotel"... or a knowledge hotel. Amol realized there was huge opportunity to create flexible, custom spaces for medium-sized businesses, and from there, Knotel was founded to provide office spaces that don't require long-lease terms.
