Sharon Marzouk is the Founder of Techykids.com and has a passion for creativity, making, and design thinking. She is an entrepreneur, mechanical engineer from Purdue University, educator, and product designer. She has led many premier technology programs for kids around the Bay Area and The Tech Museum, Woodland School, Wizbots, and Willow Garage since 2010.

Sharon Marzouk has been teaching educational robotics and tech to students K-12 for years and has developed a method and platform to get kids excited about technology, programming, and invention! She'll share all you need to get a quality program started at your school and why its important.
What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
I didn't learn conventionally in school, and I was frustrated by how little standard education connects to real world learning and thinking. We need to make real changes to education in order for people to be able to keep up with the way technology is changing. Pretty soon most people will not have skills that are useful in the workforce. I want to help give people's lives meaning and purpose to build a better world now and in the future.
