Maker education is full of variety and unique blends of approaches. We’ll explore examples of inquiry, problem, project, and instruction-based methods, and ways of making it all more youth-driven, personal, effective, joyful, and empowering for every student, especially those that need it the most.
Steve Davee
Steve is the Chief Maker Educator at Maker Ed. He is a former Opal School of the Portland Children's Museum Math & Science Teacher & Documentation/Tech Specialist, and a former biochemist for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at OHSU. In various volunteer & work capacities he has been facilitating making & tinkering experiences in schools, summer camps, & children's hospitals for over 30 years.
