The main focus of the Gender Equality Band is to provide everyone with equal opportunities of play and exercise by creating a safe space for those who want to participate in co-ed activities and help generate community relations.

Participating teens make observations in the community of Corona, Queens, design a product or solution that would be helpful to the community, and as teams make and build a prototype.
