Build a microscope on board the BioBus

Join us at BioBus, a solar-powered mobile science lab. You will have a chance to build your own microscope with our new 3D printed DIY kit and use the other powerful microscopes in our lab.
What inspired you to make this project?:
The microscope is one of the most important assets in the scientist's toolbox. The invention of the first microscopes led directly to the discovery of cells and microbes: nobody had never seen them before! At BioBus, we use microscopes to get students and the public excited about science. But how many people actually know how a microscope works? Enclosed in their cool-looking boxes, microscopes may seem a mystery: they are not!
We developed a low-cost, 3D printed DIY microscope kit so that everybody would be able to learn how to make a microscope and use it to explore the wonders of nature. We believe in the philosophy of "learning by making" and we hope that this project will inspire and empower the next generation of optics engineers and scientists.
