John Abella is an obsessive hobbyist and has been involved with 3D printing since 2010. He also flies FPV drones, plays with CNC routing, and is a rookie father. For the last five years he coordinated the 3D Printer Village at World Maker Faire.

John Abella Sr. is a retired Industrial Arts teacher (35 years!) and a general all-around wizard of all things mechanical. He has been a Maker at every World Maker Faire and has won a few Editors Choice awards.
