Learn about how light and lenses work first hand by building your own mini camera obscura. This activity requires patience and the ability to follow along with a guide. Makers 12 and under should be accompanied by a grown up. Presented by The Hacktory. Cash and credit cards accepted.

Georgia Guthrie is a designer, maker, and artist. As The Hacktory's Director, she's lead the organization to be named "Best of Philly" for adult classes, won numerous grants, and written about the gender gap in STEM for Make:Magazine and other publications. Georgia continues to grow The Hacktory as a hub of creativity, a resource for educators, and a leader as an inclusive and diverse makerspace.
