Dads & Daughters Building Together
Join us on Father's Day for this panel discussion hosted by Dale on the important role that Dads can play by engaging their daughters as makers and helping them develop new creative and technical skills. We will have some Dads talk about their own experiences working with their own daughters and find out from some of the daughters what worked best for them.
Dale Dougherty
Dale is the founding editor and publisher of Make Magazine, the instigator of Maker Faire and the CEO of Maker Media. He is increasingly focused on bringing the benefits of making to more and more young people.

Marc deVinck
Marc works as the Dexter F. Baker Professor of Practice in Creativity in the Masters of Engineering in Technical Entrepreneurship Program at Lehigh University. He is also an avid product designer, kit maker, author, father, tinkerer, and member of the MAKE Technical Advisory board.
Matt & Leah Blum
Matt Blum is a writer for and Editor-in-Chief of the GeekDad blog, for which he has been writing since May of 2007. He is a software engineer as his day job, and much more importantly is the father of two amazing teenagers. In addition to writing and programming, he enjoys playing - or experimenting, if you prefer - with drones, 3D printing, and various gadgets. Leah Blum is a teenager who will be in eighth grade in the fall. She enjoys drama, singing, and is a brilliant visual artist.
