Jared Nielsen
Jared is one half of the creative team behind Dototot. He holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and an MFA from the University of California, Irvine. He produces media for the Center for Advancement of Informal Science Education by day and moonlights at the Fablab in the Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library, where he’s currently building a scale model of the future of Washington DC.

JR is one half of the creative team behind Dototot. He graduated from Utah Valley University with a BS in Digital Media and has since co-produced multiple educational and entertaining web series with his business partner and brother, Jared. As a proponent of open-source technology, most of JR's creative works are produced on Linux-based machines using free and open-source software.
