From Play to Prototype: LEGO® MINDSTORMS™ as Prototyping Tool

Makers have used LEGO® MINDSTORMS™ and its computer, motors, sensors and construction elements as a prototyping tool. Many of these prototypes have evolved to become manufactured products. A panel of MINDSTORMS inventors will demo and discuss accessible prototyping tools.
Filippa Malmegard
Filippa Malmegard is the Community Manager for LEGO MINDSTORMS. Based in Billund, Denmark, Filippa works closely with the talented MCP (MINDSTORMS Community Partners), a close knit but globally dispersed community of robotics expert volunteers who help LEGO inspire and educate the broader community of LEGO MINDSTORMS ROBOT MAKERS around the world. Filippa came to The LEGO Group after starting her career as a devoted maker, first by founding DIY blog Scraphacker.com and then co-founding Stockholm Makerspace, a thriving Makerspace that sparked a fascination with tinkering, technology and creative communities.
