For 3 years, Computer Clubhouses & other partners have engaged new makers with STEAM concepts, to become confident designers through Start Making! programs. But harder challenge is to to empower youth to KEEP making, to continue trying new tools, overcome roadblocks, and pursue long-term projects.

D coordinates knowledge-sharing strategy & activity development among local Clubhouses in the international Network & partners with MIT Media Lab, including community-building on ClubhouseVillage.org. She develops professional development materials & experiences for informal facilitators & youth. She holds a masters in city planning from MIT & also serves on the Maker Ed education advisory board
