StoriBot

World Maker Faire 2015

September 26th-27th

Presentation Young Makers

StoriBot, using CODE for a cause is a board game for our visually impaired friends to have fun with CODING. We use tangible 3D objects that are coded in Braille and simple shapes for easy navigation. The coding is inspired by "Karel the Robot", MIT-Scratch and the passion of a 6-year-old to teach code.

Kedar Narayann

Kedar is 6 years old and an avid Scratch programmer. He taught Coding for 2 full days at the National Maker Faire in DC. He is an extreme learner and enjoys teaching everything he learns. We find it fascinating that he retains a lot more when he uses this approach. He does best with tools which focus on the “WHY, WHAT, HOW of the topic he is learning & YES, he wants to experiment with everything!
