We are the Boatbuilders of PS 143, located right here in Corona, Queens, and we are a group of 3rd, 4th and fifth graders who have designed and built a 14 foot wooden rowing pram from scratch. We are excited to share and discuss our unique program with other creative people.

I am a veteran teacher in the NYC public schools and have an extensive background in boating. I favor a hands-on approach to teaching and strive to teach my students the practical applications of the math, science, and technology we teach in the classroom.
Mike Daly
Michael Daly is an experienced science teacher and an avid outdoorsman. He strives to instill in his students a respect and appreciation for the natural environment and for outdoor activities.
