Jeff Betts is the Design & Development Lead at the biomaterials development company Ecovative. A bit of a wildcard on the Ecovative development team, Jeff pushes the lab scale development projects into mushroom product applications. A graduate of architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, Jeff is a woodworking & design enthusiast specializing in CNC & material based design.
Mushroom materials are currently replacing oil-based & toxic products in a variety of industries with products that are literally GROWN! Learn more about how Ecovative is bringing these materials to the Maker movement with the Grow It Yourself program and how biomaterials are the next step forward!
