Maryland Sidewalk Adventures transforms sidewalks and public spaces into vibrant, interactive play areas that spark imagination, movement, and connection for children of all abilities. From colorful hopscotch games to sensory trails, each hand-painted design promotes inclusive, screen-free fun and community connection. In addition to sidewalk art, I also create custom banners for all occasions—from birthdays to graduations and everything in between. At Maker Faire, I’ll showcase samples of my sidewalk art and banners, offer a hands-on mini painting station where kids can design their own game square or banner piece, and share how these playful and personalized projects bring joy to families and neighborhoods alike.

What Inspired You to Make This?
I was inspired to create Maryland Sidewalk Adventures by my own experience as a mom and educator, noticing how few outdoor play options truly engage all children, especially those with different abilities. I wanted to design colorful, interactive sidewalk art that encourages movement, creativity, and inclusive play—giving kids a fun, screen-free way to connect with each other and their communities. It’s all about making play accessible and joyful for everyone.
