A modified IKEA coffee table, whose unbreakable glass top rests on 3 load cells, thanks to which Arduino can know the precise position to the cm of an object placed on it and display it through a matrix of 800 addressable RGB LEDs. This allows for teaching (center of mass of multiple objects) and also for playing simple games (Tetris is available).

ICTP Scientific Fablab (SciFabLab)
The team has been working since 2014 at the scientific fablab of the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, has a scientific training and makes objects for STEAM teaching but also for fun, and loves colored LEDs :) We also organize Maker Faire Trieste.
