Walk Around Philadelphia came out of an artist residency in 2016 that was supposed to be 5 days and no finished product. Instead it turned into 8 years of my life and a citywide public program (it's only been 3 years as a growing public program tho, is still somewhat of a startup) – the first perimeter walk was one of the most joyous weeks of my life and I'm delighted to share these magical experiences of the city with others.
