Shrine

The Shrine celebrates traditions, storytelling, comedy, and narratives on the cycle of death, embodying survivorship. The piece is meant to encourage, to venture within, relishing in the fortitude of what embodies the will to survive from birth to death. Originally built with 4 steel “legs” that lifted the artwork up 25’ into the sky, the Shrine is now an opportunity for public interaction. Take a photo sitting on the front windowsill or step inside with the Napa River and the hills of Vallejo as your backdrop.
