Before 2021, Alessandra Payne was a self-proscribed “Art Nerd.” She enjoyed creating art for recreational enjoyment and explored creating many different genres. Today, Alessandra Payne is leaning into titles “Black female creative”, “artisan jeweler,” and “wearable artist.” She is the owner and operator of Salvage & Shine, an artisan jewelry production company established in October 2021 that sells elegant, innovative wearable art jewelry pieces that are eco-consciously handmade.
