Allison Conley (Union College Visual Arts)

Allison was born in Connecticut and received her MFA in printmaking from Colorado State University. She has worked as a collaborative printmaker in several shops in New Mexico, New York, and Connecticut. She was the 2019 winter artist in residence at IPCNY where she worked out of their in-gallery studio for 2 months. For the past 4 years, Allison has trained under press technician and master printer Perry Tymeson to maintain, fix, and refurbish printing presses. Allison opened her own printmaking workshop in New Haven, CT, where she printed for several artists and hosted workshops, classes, and collaborated with the local art community. She has taught at colleges in Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, and most recently moved to Schenectady to begin teaching drawing and printmaking at Union College.
