Meet the Robot with a "Handy" Trick Up Its Sleeve!

Home: California, United States

Ever wish you could change your hand depending on the task? This robot can! It's got a special arm that can swap out different "hands" or tools, kind of like switching attachments on a power drill. It's not just about picking the right tool, it's about having the right "hand" for anything you throw at it! Watch it transform from a delicate grasper for small objects to a formidable lifter for bigger items. This robot is always ready for the next challenge!

What Inspired You to Make This?

Lets face it, wire management is the worst part of any robotics or mechatronics project. So I wanted to create a robot that is wireless, that is, each joint is independent with a power supply and controller of its own. With this approach, the central controller has to only send joint commands to the joints. The tasks of PID control and feedback monitoring are off loaded to the individual joint controllers.
