Joni White

Joni White is a Texas native who found herself in Maryland when her Army husband received orders to Ft. Meade. She and her family remained in Maryland when her husband concluded his military service. Joni developed an interest in jewelry making primarily because of her medical bracelet, desiring more variety in what she wore. She was taught basic bead stringing by her work friends. Soon after, she found the Baltimore Bead Society where she was exposed to many jewelry making techniques, including her favorite, chain mail! She finds it fascinating that so many patterns can be made with only circles, and loves the flexibility and structural nature of the craft. When she isn't knitting chain mail, Joni enjoys computers, cooking, reading, walking. and spending time with friends and family.
