We are Formula Racing at UC Davis. We are a collegiate student engineering design team that designs, builds, and races a formula-style electric car at international competitions. Our mission is to foster a community of passionate and competent engineers for the sustainable vehicle industry through a rigorous design challenge.

Our formula race car team was established at the University of California, Davis 12 years ago. Our team is extremely proud to have several commendable achievements like being the first team in the United States to pass technical inspection in the electric vehicle category of our competition series. As we enter our 12th year as a team, we are inspired to continue our legacy and reputation, build competitive cars, and provide fulfilling educational opportunities for undergraduate students and below. In addition to creating a beneficial opportunity, we use our fun and exciting vehicle to promote clean energy and sustainable transportation ideals.
