I started in electronics as a kid when I re-soldered the 9volt battery snap on my transistor radio. I am active in the Chicago area classic computing community. My first computer was a Commodore 64. Recently I have been using Raspberry Pi's in projects and have gotten involved in 3D design and printing.
What Inspired You to Make This?
My vehicle's vanity plate is CBM SX 64 and being involved in the local classic computing hobbyist community I have long thought of doing some kind of homage to the Commodore SX-64 on the bumper or lift-gate of my minivan. The catalyst for this particular project was when I found the individual serving dessert trays, which when inverted look like the keys of a computer. The project was scaled up from those "keys".
