Alpenglow Industries - Soldering Kits and Handy Tools!
Home: California, United States
We're a one-stop shop for whimsical soldering kits, both through-hole kits for beginners as well as surface mount kits for anyone looking to level-up their soldering skills! With the videos and written tutorials on our website, we've done our best to virtually "look over your shoulder" and give your handy tips and tricks and advice. We also make tools that help with circuit board layout and solderless breadboard prototyping. If you're a makerspace or education institution interested in teaching with our kits, ask us about our volume discounts. Don't have a soldering iron and want an even easier no-tools-required way of entering into electronics? We've also got twist-together kits, including some specifically designed to teach basic electronics concepts and multimeter use.

Alpenglow Industries is a small woman-owned business, building irreverent electronics and frivolous circuits for makers and engineers everywhere. Our mission is to create more opportunities for women and people who are underrepresented in STEM. We are passionate about representation in electronics, and we provide a welcoming space where adults can learn about electronics without judgment or any previous experience. Electronics are like any other skillset - it can be learned at any time, it can be a fun hobby, or it can develop into an engaging career. It's no different from woodworking, cooking, knitting, or gaming. We encourage anyone with a desire to make things with their hands to learn how to solder, learn some basic electronics concepts, and add electronics to their toolkit!
