Ornella Afina Mkrtchyan is the General Director of the Center for Youth Initiatives. Ornella Afina obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Switzerland. She holds Bachelor of LLB in Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), as well as a Legal Practice Certificate and Master of Laws in Law and Business from the University of Law, England. After completing these degrees, Ornella Afina has fully immersed herself in the world of educational technologies, finance and entrepreneurship. She is a member of the Supervisory Board at Asia Alliance Bank in Uzbekistan, and she oversees development of various innovative and sustainable projects. Her diverse experience and exposure enable her to introduce cross-cultural concepts and ideas, build intra- and international relationships, and exchange obtained knowledge in her home country. She is passionate about making a difference.

What Inspired You to Make This?

Development of technologies in the AERO laboratory. Innovations. The desire to be at the forefront of drone technology development and implement it in various fields. - Training. Understanding the importance of training specialists capable of working with drones and developing new applications for them. Practical application. The desire to show that drones are not just toys, but a serious tool for solving various problems. Education and skills development. - The desire to make drone technology accessible to a wide audience, including schoolchildren, students and adults. - Understanding the importance of programming to control drones and create new applications. - The formation of a new generation of specialists. The desire to train specialists capable of working in a rapidly developing field of unmanned aerial vehicles. Solving real problems, such as: 1. Use of drones in various fields: Understanding the potential of drones for use in areas such as ecology, agriculture, search and rescue operations, etc. 2. Creation of practical solutions: Striving to develop and implement innovative solutions based on drones to solve real problems.
