3D Photo Booth
Home: PA, United States
The 3D Photo Booth is an open source software project that lets you take 3D pictures of yourself. It uses a stereo webcam to capture two images at once, and then shows them together in 3D. You view 3D pictures with red-cyan glasses, or 3D tablet.

I'm a retired software engineer and enthusiast 2D/3D photographer. I like to explore the intersection of the Arts, Technology, and Photography. It turns out many 3D photographers are makers who build their own 3D camera rigs because there are few inexpensive commercial ready made alternatives to get quality photos.

I made photo booth for a family celebration and model photo shoot and then extended it for 3D capture.
