Curio Kits by Ecco

Faire: Bay Area

Maker: Ecco Pierce

Home: California, United States

Build it yourself at our booth! Customize your wings. Inspired by nature, driven by you! Enter a world where play and invention come together. At Curio Kits, we create contraptions that flap... Conflaptions! Our very first is the Flappy-do, a build-it-yourself kinetic sculpture inspired by the fluttering wings of insects. More than just a toy, it's a moving piece of art that comes alive in your hands. At the fair, you'll assemble your own Flappy-do, glue it together, and watch it flap for the first time. Your visit isn't just for viewing—it's for doing. We've built a hands-on maker station where you can select your colors, personalize your wings, and give your Flappy-do its own character. From fitting the parts to designing your wings with a splash of color, every step sparks creativity and fun. Whether you're 3 or 80, the building process is simple, rewarding, and memorable. Come flap with us!
