Instalace se skládá ze dvou robotických ramen UR 5 a UR 10, která hrají na unikátní bezkontaktní nástroj Laser String. Subtilní laserový paprsek je přerušován světlocitlivým senzorem. Laserová struna vznikla v roce 2008 jako prototyp a její vývoj pokračuje dodnes. Poslední významný pokrok nastal, když byl lidský hráč nahrazen robotem. Strojová přesnost dokonalého načasování robotické ruky v kombinaci s křehkou a nepředvídatelnou odezvou laserového paprsku. Paprsek se odráží do prostoru, kde vytváří dechberoucí vizuální efekty. Umělé paže jsou schopny pohybovat optickými prvky s mimořádnou přesností, ať už energicky a živě, nebo moudře a téměř nepostřehnutelně.

Ik ben een ontwerper en storyteller die glas gebruikt om emotie tastbaar te maken. Met lampworking en het samenvoegen van scherven creëer ik kralen en objecten die thema’s als mentale gezondheid, breekbaarheid en zelfherstel verkennen. Glas is voor mij een krachtig symbool—onvoorspelbaar en eigenzinnig, maar met geduld en kennis laat het zich vormen. In de hitte van de vlam wordt zelfs een scherpe scherf weer zacht en kneedbaar. Die transformatie raakt me en weerspiegelt hoe verandering en herstel mogelijk zijn. Wat me het meest inspireert, zijn de gesprekken die mijn werk oproept. Sieraden zijn meer dan versiering; ze verbinden mensen en verhalen. Ik ben altijd benieuwd naar de betekenis achter een aankoop—voor wie is het, waarom resoneert dit stuk met hun verhaal? Roboti se střetnou tváří tvář v dynamických a často hlučných zápasech plných překvapení, během nichž nikdy nebude předem jasné, kdo se stane vítězem. Soutěž spočívá ve stavbě vlastních na dálku ovládaných strojů, které se utkávají v aréně během soubojů jeden na jednoho, přičemž cílem je vytlačit protivníka z arény nebo jej rovnou vyřadit z provozu. Pokud dorazíte jako diváci, tak se můžete těšit nejen na samotné bitvy, ale i na možnost prohlédnout si roboty zblízka, sledovat jejich opravy mezi zápasy, nechat si od tvůrců vysvětlit, jak roboti fungují, a dokonce si vyzkoušet ovládání robota na vlastní kůži.
