Na Maker Faire chci představit svoje nadšení pro výměnu hlav na 3D tiskárně, díky které mohu tisknout více materiálů najednou. Projekt začal myšlenkou "Postavit toolchanger nemůže být tak těžké", a ejhle, pár překážek se našlo, ale nic co bych nedokázal nevyřešit! Jelikož jsem studentem, byl také cíl dosáhnout toho za co nejnižší cenu s ohledem na přesnost. Můj toolchanger funguje na mechanickém principu, žádné motory či serva navíc!

Meshtastic is a resilient open-source, encrypted, radio-based mesh networking protocol for text messaging. You can program them to work as bulletin board servers, connect them to sensors to create alert networks, or just use them for casual messaging. The beauty of Meshtastic is that it's based on radio waves, so it's useful in scenarios where cellular service is unavailable, such as while hiking, camping, at festivals or on remote cruise ships. Come learn what Meshastic is, see stand alone and app-based Meshtastic messaging at work, and see a few sample nodes. Available nodes to try will be $10 Seeed Xiao nodes that require the Meshtastic app, as well as stand alone Lily-Go T-decks, and custom made 3D printed solar powered nodes.

In our workshop, participants will have the opportunity to take on a design challenge to create their very own passive hydroponic systems, with all supplies needed to grow their plant at home. We will begin with an informational presentation introducing participants to the science of hydroponics and its importance in urban landscapes. Participants will then have the chance to discuss and dispel common climate myths. As you're exploring the fair, attendees can also visit the NY Sun Works booth to talk more about the program and to see a small-scale hydroponic system in action.
