City Tech Maker Fairies
City Tech Maker Fairies is a student organization at New York City College of Technology, CUNY. Students use their electrical and computer technology skills to make Assistive Technology (AT) devices for children and adults with disabilities. Maker Fairies will bring 3D printed, computer technology based interactive devices and games for show and tell. Another goal is to attract female high school seniors to City Tech Computer Science and Engineering programs, in order to achieve better female student representation and gender diversity in technology programs at the college.

We are interested in using technology to help humanity. We apply the knowledge and skills gained in computer technology courses at the college, to build assistive technology devices and switches, to help people with disabilities.
