Вже кілька років ми знайомимо з інженерією та мейкерством українських учнів. Тільки цього року Інженерний тиждень (https://www.facebook.com/EngineeringWeekUA) провели близько 1900 шкіл — в класах, укриттях та дистанційно. На Kyiv Maker Faire хочемо познайомити вас з нашою пілотною освітньою програмою «План.Дій» — проєктами підлітків, які взялися за вирішення інфраструктурних проблем та відбудову власних громад. Серія фотографій «Прототипування» — покаже етап, сповнений відкриттів та випробовувань. Для когось робота в майстерні стала першим знайомством з інструментами та обладнанням, когось підштовхнула задуматися про інженерну спеціальність, в чийсь пам'яті залишиться просто пригодою, але ж вау, якою крутою. Цими фото хочемо вкотре показати, що мейкерство не має меж, а ні вікових, а ні гендерних. Щоб зробити щось самостійно єдине що вам направду знадобиться це — допитливість. Її ми і допомагаємо розвивати.

NLAB: The Mini Electronics Lab (late)

NLAB: the mini electronics lab, is a STEM toolkit used to teach circuit design, building, testing, and debugging. At our booth attendees will be invited to sit down and learn how to build a circuit. We will have 4 stations, each with a laptop, lab kit with wire, wire strippers, breadboard, resistors, LEDs, and other electronic components. We will have 2 instructors to guide attendees and answer questions, as well as headphones and videos to watch. Attendees will build a circuit that turns on an LED and reads from a light sensor, all from scratch. Advanced users will be invited to build even more complicated circuits. We expect each person to spend 5-10 minutes building.

Duct Tape in Emergencies

Circuit Canvas – A simple tool to draw circuits

Circuit Canvas is a tool to make it easy and fast to draw circuits. It has two modes; Schematic and Layout. Layout is for drawing how to connect the circuit in the real world, similar to Fritzing or Tinkercad. You can also share your circuits with others for them to check out or duplicate to make their own version. Soon multiple people can work on the same project in real-time - similar to google docs. And it will be possible to export automatic build instructions with parts list, and step-by-step illustrations on how to connect the circuit.
