Le unghie sane hanno una colorazione uniforme e sono visivamente lisce. Tuttavia, con l'avanzare dell'eta’, le unghie possono diventare piu’ fragili e possono avere uno scolorimento dovuto a lesioni, funghi e infezioni virali, farmaci, ecc. Spacebar Arcade

Spacebar Arcade is a Virtual Reality saloon arcade set in the wild west of cyberspace. You enter this virtual world by way of a real-world 16-foot-tall arcade cabinet. Play on the "outside" using game pads and the giant screen, or don a VR headset to go inside the Spacebar with your friends and family. Inside, one can find a variety of low-gravity games and digital refreshments to enjoy with the other patrons. You might find our ornery A.I. barkeep, Cyberspace Sam. The physical cabinet and the virtual game were both designed and built by creative technologist (and lifelong maker), Sam Mateosian, in his San Carlos garage studio with the assistance of his two daughters, various friends, and helpful neighbors. It was first exhibited at the Augmented World Expo Playground in June 2024.

IrGAS4soil is an affordable and easy-to-build tool using an Infrared Gas Analyzer (IRGA) to quickly measure CO2 flux from soil. It logs data to Google Sheets and is portable for monitoring soils in cities, farms, and forests.

Leonardo InMoov: 3D Printed Interactive Humanoid Robot

Leonardo InMoov is an interactive humanoid robot that integrates advanced AI technologies with a physical 3D printed robotic body based on the open-source InMoov Project, creating an intelligent robot with a personality powered by ChatGPT. The robot uses OpenAI's latest technology, including Vision, Speech-to-Text, and Text-to-Speech, enabling it to understand and respond to voice commands, describe what it sees, and generate thoughtful answers. The InMoov design, originally created by French sculptor Gaël Langevin, incorporates Arduino and servos to enable the robot to execute specific gestures such as counting, saluting, and grabbing objects. This project showcases the potential of AI and robotics to create interactive and intuitive machines.

Making & Constructing Dougong Brackets with Assistant Professor Sheri Lullo

Sheri Lullo is using 3D Printing to create reproductions of traditional Chinese wood structures. Load-bearing timber-framed structures with dougong bracketing are emblematic of traditional Chinese architecture, and their design, construction and variation are prominent themes of Professor Lullo’s course, AAH 204: Chinese Architecture. This project focuses on dougong brackets, a distinguishing feature of traditional palaces, temples and dwellings. Evidenced as early as the Han dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), they are important structural elements made of dou (wooden blocks) and gong (bow-shaped arms or brackets) that serve to support the weight of the roof and to hold all components of the building together.

Sass N Harmony is a multi-instrumental trio out of Oakland CA best known for their soul folk sound. The music of Sass N Harmony is imbued with mischief and magic to bring you lyrics immersed in archetypes and folk-tales. Their vocals fly together like a tight triangle of birds overhead, agilely changing directions when needed. The group met while touring as other bands in the Biketopia Music collective, a group of feminist environmental activists and musicians with bike generators who biked from Canada to San Francisco in 2016 and 2018 putting on free human powered concerts. This group's unique mix of whimsical vocals and tight groove invokes a presence that goes straight to the heart.

In this presentation, we'll take a 30,000 foot view of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, especially as it pertains to Edge AI (translation-we won't get bogged down by nitty-gritty now!). We will look at the various practical applications they can be used for, the various tools and frameworks that are available to utilize, and practical considerations of how to build and deploy a robust (not toy!) model that can run on your Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other suitable MCUs/SBCs.
