Ritmes maken met muziek en techniek

Tijdens deze activiteit knutselen deelnemers met een reeks open materialen en mechanismen om geluidspatronen te creëren. Dit doen ze door het toevoegen en weghalen van pinnen van een gemotoriseerd pinwiel en het plaatsen van instrumenten. Zo creëren deelnemers regelmatige beats en ongewone patronen. Unieke klanken kunnen worden gebouwd met deze open set materialen, hetzij door een individu, hetzij door een groep die samenwerkt en improviseert.

If time allows during the fall Browned Butter Babe also like to make apple butter, inspired by her southern heritage.

Big Birds Ice Cream Bike

I built this bike from scratch, based on the turn of the century penny farthing bike. It was originally built to showcase our homemade ice cream; turns out the bike is as big of a hit as the ice cream! This is built as a tricycle so that I could pedal slowly {you don't want an ice cream bike as a get-away vehicle!!} Men, grandmothers to teenage girls to children {in other words, pretty much everyone}- loves the photo opp being up so high on the bike. Additionally being up high gives one a sense of power and confidence. I have witnessed shy kids, break into a big grin sitting on top of the bike!

Null Beam: a 6 foot, 11-string aluminum electric concept instrument

Invaerso was born from a project by the Roman designer Maria Clelia Scuteri, who with this brand wants to tell her own design vision in the approach to design. The creative process, when free to express itself outside any conventional scheme, becomes an infinite flow of ideas, capable of making anything possible. The jewel is a pretext: the aspiration is to create Designs to wear; something that has the ability to leave its mark, that is beautiful to look at and unique to "experience", but at the same time that knows how to tell a story, and has its own compositional, formal, material and conceptual identity. It doesn't matter if fluid or straight lines, soft or rigid; it is the design approach that aims at a continuous and incessant research towards an evolutionary goal made up of experiments without "rules" understood as preconceptions. "The only goal to strive for is the creation of something unexpected and unique, outside of what we consider ordinary". How? Through the creation of a unique and complex supply chain , the result of a strong creative sensitivity capable of subverting traditional rules combined with the use of different production techniques set up in a system that is always different (including: traditional metal casting, 3d printing technology , upcycling of industrial materials, lost wax, the craftsmanship of filigree).

Hierdoor vermijden we onnodig contact met kleding. Dit is beter voor de hygiene en er hoeft geen kleding meer weggegooid te worden, omdat het niet meer vies wordt.
