EGO – Trasporti Carbon Neutral

EGO is a system composed of a CO2 sensor, position sensors, telemetry mounted on board the vehicle and a cloud platform that collects miles of real data from the vehicles. AI algorithms suggest optimized routes and driving behaviors aimed at reducing the CO2 produced. EGO allows its complete compensation of the remaining CO2, purchasing carbon credits that will be used by Treebu for the planting of paulownia in the territories where the transport company operates. The compensation is certified by EGO to the transport company which can highlight it with its customers and effectively increase CSR.

My project aims to provide children and families with a unique opportunity to experience mathematics through games. These DIY games are designed to have a low entry barrier and a high potential for engagement, encouraging kids to think critically and solve problems. Additionally, recently I have reached out to Mr. Cixin Liu, the renowned author of 'The Three-Body Problem' and recipient of the 2015 Hugo Award, and have received authorization to incorporate intellectual property from his science fiction works into the games, presenting children with meaningful puzzles to solve. Through this project, I hope to help children understand the importance of mathematics and its relationship with science, while also recognizing and appreciating the beauty and value of math.

The Dinghy Derby is a no-rules creative sailboat building and racing experience for makers of all ages. Participants will start in the building area by selecting from a variety of recycled materials to build a boat. They will launch their boat using a hand fan to propel and navigate their boat to the finish line. Makers can test and repeat as many times as they wish! Forgiafer produces what can be defined as the best padel courts on the market and offers 10 years of warranty: since the beginning of the activity in 2016, it has installed more than 2500 courts in over 20 countries. The goal for the next two years is to distribute 65% of the achievements on the foreign market, while already in 2022 the company will reach an annual production capacity of 1500 courts. From 2018 the products are CE certified according to EN 1090-1, recalled by NCT 2018 and Legislative Decree 106/2017 in compliance with EU Regulation No. 305/2011. The CE marking, which is mandatory in Europe, represents a focus on safety and provides a number of additional benefits for customers. With the adaptation of the structures to the NCT 2018, the Padel courts installed in Italy must ensure resistance to wind thrust over 100 km/h. The glasses of the court are tempered 12mm or laminated and have a thickness of 6 + 6 mm with plastic interlayer, which implies greater resistance, greater rebound and greater safety during play. The structure, finally, made with increased thicknesses, is completely galvanized, the welds are anti-corrosion and the painting is carried out in powder, improving the abrasion resistance and the durability of the product over time.
