FOGTOWN: Hands-on puppetry, gaming, and D.I.Y. virtual production

Fogtown is a world of baffling mystery and heartfelt humor, where classic puppetry meets cutting-edge virtual production.

We're creating a video game and TV series set in Fogtown, a reimagining of Sherlock Holmes starring our puppet detectives Sherblock and Blockson, who solve baffling cases and get hilariously sidetracked along the way.

Using handcrafted puppets and digital sets built in Blender and Unreal Engine, we've developed a DIY production pipeline that lets us shoot live puppetry against interactive virtual environments — an affordable spin on the “Volume” stages used in modern Hollywood. The result is a blend of old-school charm and digital magic that we're sure will inspire you!
