Maker Faire Bay Area 2025

September 26th-28th

Education

This exhibit showcases Taiwan's vibrant spirit by blending traditional culture with modern technology in a bold “Tai-ke” style. From iconic street food reimagined through artisan design, interactive games inspired by classic childhood play, to fashion infused with Indigenous and Hakka elements, and temple scenes featuring techno Third Princes and creative palanquins—every corner offers a unique sensory experience. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a lively maker world full of surprises, and discover the creative pulse of contemporary Taiwanese culture.

We are the Maker Alliance from New Taipei City, Taiwan — a citywide maker community established by the New Taipei City Education Department, connecting students and teachers from elementary to high school. Our team has previously participated in Maker Faires in Taipei, San Francisco, New York, and Tokyo. This year marks the 10th anniversary of our maker community, and to celebrate, the Education Department is leading a group of dedicated teachers and students to share their creations inspired by Taiwanese culture with makers around the world.
