The Port Labs Artists’ Residency Program provides space in downtown Oakland for a small cohort of dedicated working creatives to develop multimedia visual art while contributing their unique perspectives to our community of startups and entrepreneurs. Port Lab's mission is to cultivate an interdisciplinary ecosystem of professionals and experts centered around creative problem solving across multiple industries.
The artists are: Ecco Pierce, Krystal Harfert, Zach Fish, and Yaminah Abdur-Rahim

Port Labs Artists in Residence
Ecco works in new media and manufacturing processes. She endeavors to use the tools and materials reserved for mankind's more scientific ambitions for something more playful, whimsical, and approachable. Krystal is a multi-medium artist with experience as a performer/choreographer, costume designer, photographer, cinematographer, and fiber artist. Zach Fish is most well known for their work in interactive entertainment and creative reuse of what many mistakenly call "trash". Yaminah Abdur-Rahim works primarily in video, performance and sculpture across Oakland, CA.
