Pop-up Virus Instrument is an innovative musical instrument, which fake the the experience of a computer infected by pop up ads virus. It uses hundreds of browser windows as the pigments of pixel art and the score of interactive musical expression.

Wenqi Li is a Brooklyn based creative technologist and maker, currently a master candidate at ITP, NYU. His works blend light, sound and hardwares with interaction design and uses web technology, mixed media palette to explore a tangible future.
